The cemetery just south of the St. Gregory's Abbey church building is a peaceful spot on the St. Gregory's University campus. Atop a hill overlooking the cemetery is a large crucifix.
The cultivation of the lilies in tst. Gregory's greenhouse is just one of the many ways the abbey prepares for Holy Week and Easter.
Monks at St. Gregory's Abbey in Shawnee prepare for Easter in several ways. They recently learned to perform "The Gloria" in the form of a Gregorian chant during a pre-Easter choral practice.
